IIM Amritsar: The Indian Institute of Management Amritsar (IIM Amritsar) is a Public Business School and an Institute of National Importance located in Amritsar, Punjab, India established by Ministry of Human Resource Development in 2015.

IIM Amritsar awarded MBA degrees to its sixth batch of 212 students, in the convocation ceremony held on 2nd April 2022 at Hotel Radisson Blu, Amritsar. The students received MBA degrees on the recommendation of the academic council as per the IIM Act 2017.

IIM Amritsar Placement: IIM Amritsar is delighted to announce 100% placement for the MBA batch of 2020-22. Moreover, we have once again raised the bar by placing the largest batch of students amongst all the third- generation IIMs.

IIM Amritsar has announced a leadership transition. Prof Dr. Samir Kumar Srivastava of IIM Lucknow has assumed the role of Director, succeeding Prof Dr. Nagarajan Ramamoorthy, whose tenure has concluded.

Prof Ramamoorthy had been the director of IIM Amritsar since its inception in 2015. From the first batch of 44 students in 2015, the institute has grown to nearly 725 students in various programmes currently. His tenure saw the successful expansion of the institute, the operationalisation of the new campus, the enhancement of academic programmes and strengthening of industry partnerships.
