ISM IIT Dhanbad Admission 2026: IIT ISM will open MBA Registration after CAT Result. Department of Management Studies and Industrial Engineering, IIT (ISM), Dhanbad closed applications for its 2 year full-time MBA & MBA Business Analytics Program for the batch 2025 -27.

The Eligibility Criteria of MBA Programme is as follows:

1. Graduates (or professional qualification equivalent to that of a University degree recognized by the UGC) in any discipline with first class or having 60% marks or CGPA of 6.0 out of 10 (55% marks or CGPA of 5.5 for SC/ST/PwD [Differently Abled Categories]) in their degree from a recognized University.
2. Final year students (of the above-mentioned program) are also eligible to apply. Such candidates, if selected, will be admitted provisionally, on the condition that they meet all the requirements for the qualifying degree before the start of the program and will produce a provisional certificate of completion of the program latest by September 30, 2024.
3. Shortlist for the interview process will be announced by the department. Only those who are shortlisted will be invited to the interview process (Personal Interview).
4. All applicants should have a valid CAT-2023 score.

1. Candidates with B.Tech degree in any discipline from a recognized university/institute with at least 60% marks in aggregate or 6.0 out of 10 CGPA [55% marks in aggregate or 5.5 CGPA out of 10 in case of candidates belonging to SC, ST and PwD [Differently Abled Categories]) will be eligible for the programme.
2. Final year students (of the above-mentioned program) are also eligible to apply. Such candidates, if selected, will be admitted provisionally, on the condition that they meet all the requirements for the qualifying degree before start of the program and will produce provisional certificate of completion of the program latest by September 30, 2024.

Shortlisting Procedure:

The shortlisting of candidates to MBA programmes may be decided by taking into consideration the CAT Score of the candidate.

Final Selection Procedure

The final selection of candidates to MBA programmes may be decided by taking into consideration the following four dimensions of the candidate’s performance:

• Personal Interview (4%)
• CAT Score ( 35%)
• Past academic records (10%)
• Industrial Experience (10%)
• Female candidate (5%)
