About IMI Kolkata: IMI Kolkata is an AMBA, Accredited Business School of India. IMI Kolkata Admission : The International Management Institute Kolkata (IMI Kolkata) open applications for its 2 year full-time PGDM  programme for the batch 2024 , eligible candidates can apply for its PGDM (Post-Graduate Diploma in Management) programme for the batch 20245 -27.

The campus buildings are separated into an academic block and a residential block.

Eligibility Criteria :

To be eligible for admission to the PGDM Programme, the participants must possess a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks or equivalent in any discipline, recognized by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) for admission to post- graduate programmes. The bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification obtained by the candidate must entail a minimum of three years education after completing higher secondary schooling under the 10+2 system or equivalent. The applicants to the programme are selected on the basis of IMI Selection Index score calculated based on the past academic performance in 10th, 12th, and graduation; CAT/XAT/GMAT/CMAT score; extempore, and personal interview. Appropriate weightage is given to work experience of the applicants.

• Application Procedure: For complete information, refer to the Admission Bulletin 2024 – 26. Please note that after submitting the final application along with payment of application fee, the candidate cannot edit or make any changes in the given information
• Application form is available at https://admission.imi.edu/kolkata/
• Users should create a new account while applying online. The login details will be used for filling the admission form and for checking the status of the application later. After logging in successfully, the admission form will be displayed.
• Applicants should complete the online application form and submit it along with non- refundable application processing fee.
• Incomplete forms are liable to be rejected.

Payment Instructions: The admission application form fee will be as follows:-

• Application processing fee for Kolkata’s PGDM programme for the first program is Rs. 2000/- plus GST @ 18%. However, if an applicant who has applied to IMI New Delhi also wants to apply for IMI Kolkata and/or IMI Bhubaneswar, s(he) can do so without any extra cost.
• The admission fee can be paid through Credit Card/ Debit Card/ Net Banking through the designated payment gateway. No receipts are to be sent to IMI’s Admission Office.

Selection Process: Candidates who apply online for admission into PGDM will be shortlisted on the basis of

• Entrance Score (CAT/XAT/CMAT or GMAT score)
• Academic Record.

Only shortlisted candidates will be called for the final stage of the selection process – the  Individual Assessment Individual Assessment Process (Personal Interview) will be held in January/ February 2024 (tentative).
Past academic records, performance in the individual assessment process along with other qualitative parameters, like quality of work experience and extra-curricular activities constitute the core components of the selection process. The IMI Kolkata Admissions Committee reserves the right to modify these components while
communicating these to the applicants at the Individual Assessment stage. The overall objective will be to identify and assess the candidate’s potential for a managerial career.
