About NIA: National Insurance Academy (NIA), a premier insurance Academy in India was established in the year 1980 by the public sector insurance companies. The Academy moved into the 32 Acre sprawling lush green campus in 1990. The PGDM Programme is approved by AICTE and accredited by NBA. The course has also been granted equivalence to MBA by AIU.

NIA Pune Admission 2026. National Insurance Academy (NIA) Pune opened application for the PGDM Admission 2026 -28. Candidates can apply online. The curriculum consists of core Management subjects like Finance, HR, Marketing, Analytics and Technology along with Insurance Subjects viz. General Insurance, Life Insurance, Re-Insurance and Pension. Upper age limit is 28 years for General / OBC – NC candidates, and 30 years for SC/ST/DA candidates as on 1 July 2023.

The program fee that includes tuition fee, professional and incidental expenses towards the conduct of the 2-year program shall be Rs. 12 Lakh

The hostel accommodation (twin-sharing) charges shall be Rs 75,000/- for each student for each of the years and the Boarding Charges are Rs.78,500/- per year.

Eligibility:

The minimum educational qualification required is a Bachelor’s Degree of minimum 3 years duration or its equivalent in any discipline from a university in India recognized by UGC or Association of Indian Universities (AIU) with a minimum of 50% marks. Students who would be appearing for the final year examination in the year 2024 can also apply subject to completion of their examination process by June 30, 2026.
